Develop, Conduct and Evaluate Single Specialized Training Service

Homeless Services United seeks a Training Consultant, either a firm or an individual, to develop, conduct, and evaluate a single specialized in-person training with virtual post-training modules for frontline shelter staff in New York City. The training must equip staff with foundational knowledge to identify, engage, and support clients with high-acuity health needs. The performance of the work will be onsite, and the contract period will last one year, including delivering training over a 10-to-12-month period reaching a minimum of 40 shelters and 1,700 participants. Applicants must be onshore in the USA. Homeless Services United will evaluate proposals based on direct social service training experience, proposed training content and format, and a budget proposal, which carries a 10% weight. Homeless Services United anticipates a budget between $200,000 and $240,000, which can be formatted as a fixed fee or an hourly rate inclusive of overhead and travel.
