Supplemental Security Services

The Rhode Island Convention Center Authority and OVG require a vendor to provide exclusive supplemental security services for the Rhode Island Convention Center and Amica Mutual Pavilion complex in Providence, Rhode Island. Unarmed security personnel must wear professional uniforms displaying the vendor's company name and logo, abstain from tobacco use while working, and adhere to strict safety and behavioral standards. Eligibility is limited to USA organizations, and respondents must be licensed and authorized to conduct business in the State of Rhode Island. Vendors must provide proof of comprehensive general liability, workers' compensation, excess liability, auto liability, and casualty insurance, naming the authority, OVG, and the state as additional insureds. Execution of a performance and payment bond is also required. To apply, respondents must submit three executed responses in a sealed envelope no later than 12:00 PM E.S.T. on the specified due date. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, is required, and clarification requests must be submitted in writing at least seven days prior to the proposal due date. Proposals must feature a fixed fee pricing structure on the provided quotation sheet. The contract term is three years, with an option to renew and a 30-day notice termination clause.
