Archaeological Consultant Services

The County of Mercer needs a vendor to provide on-call archaeological consultant services for the Mercer County Park Commission in Trenton, NJ. The requested scope includes general archaeological consulting, monitoring oversight during park development projects, test pitting, and preparing subsequent reports, avoidance plans, and protection plans. Only USA organizations are eligible to bid, and performance will occur onsite or offsite. Applicants must submit electronically sealed proposals via BidNet Direct by November 5, 2026, at 11:30 A.M., with all questions due by October 20, 2026. An evaluation committee will score submissions up to 100 points based on understanding of the requested work (35 points), knowledge and technical competence (30 points), and additional general criteria. The contract term is for one year, and respondents may be required to give oral presentations before an award is made.
