Tower Cleaning Services

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Facilities Services department needs a qualified vendor to provide scheduled cooling tower cleaning, disinfection, debris removal, inspection support, and related services. Scope includes cleaning basins, fill, drift eliminators, distribution decks, spray nozzles, headers, strainers, and casings, as well as pressure washing, chemical cleaning, biological disinfection, vacuuming, pumping, debris disposal, and photo documentation. Work must be performed on-site at the Knoxville, TN campus for an initial one-year term, with up to four optional one-year renewals. Eligible respondents must be onshore U.S. vendors not currently debarred, suspended, or listed as excluded suppliers by the U.S. federal government or the State of Tennessee. Vendors must attend a mandatory pre-proposal conference on October 26, 2026. Proposals must be submitted by November 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET. Respondents must submit their pricing proposal through the solicitation process and communicate strictly with the designated Solicitation Coordinator, Andrew Remke.
