Methadone Administration Treatment Service

Atlantic County seeks a single authority to provide and administer a Methadone Administration Treatment program for county-sentenced inmates at the Atlantic County Justice Facility. The selected vendor must deliver all required training and oversight, develop a discharge planning and reentry services plan, and supply a qualified staffing plan to ensure full program implementation within thirty days of contract award. Performance will take place onsite at the maximum, medium, and minimum security correctional facility in Mays Landing, New Jersey. Eligible applicants include experienced US individuals and firms, provided any vendors using subcontractors include all required information for those secondary providers. All vendor personnel must pass criminal background checks, clear drug screenings, and comply with all county security regulations. Atlantic County plans to award a one-year contract running from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with potential extensions to ensure continuity of care. Vendors must submit all questions by October 28, 2026. A proposal review committee will evaluate submissions based on vendor track record, technical responsiveness, key site personnel qualifications, and cost.
