Township Engineer Service

The Township of Florence needs a qualified Township Engineer to perform general municipal engineering services for a one-year contract term in 2027. Applicants must be onshore USA entities, and the appointed engineer must be a member or employee of a firm of New Jersey licensed engineers with all applicable state licenses. The firm must be multi-disciplined with at least ten years of experience in municipal engineering, and the assigned individual must have at least five years of experience as a Municipal Engineer. Applicants must submit one thumb drive with PDF documents and six original paper copies in a sealed envelope to the Township Clerk by 10:00 AM on November 12, 2026. Submissions must include explanations of qualifications, at least three local government references, a proposed fee schedule or compensation outline, a Business Registration Certificate, a Valid Certificate of Employee Information Reporting, a Certificate of Insurance, and a Disclosure of Investment Activities with Iran. The Township evaluates RFQs to find the highest quality provider and RFPs to determine if proposed fees are fair and reasonable.
