MetroPlus Health Plan Pharmacy Benefit Management Consulting Services

MetroPlus Health Plan, Inc. is soliciting proposals for RFP MHP-1124 to secure Pharmacy Benefit Management Consulting Services. The selected vendor will serve as a strategic advisor and independent expert to support the evaluation, optimization, oversight, and long-term management of the agency's pharmacy and medical benefit drug programs. Responsibilities include conducting annual market checks of PBM pricing, rebate guarantees, dispensing fees, and specialty pharmacy arrangements, benchmarking pricing against regional and national health plan peers, and analyzing drug utilization and cost trends. Eligible proposers are limited to onshore, USA organizations, and the requested work will be performed offsite. Proposers must email an RSVP by October 28, 2026, to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference Call on October 29, 2026. Proposer questions are due by 3:00 PM EST on November 2, 2026, and final proposals must be submitted digitally by 3:00 PM EST on November 16, 2026. Proposals will be evaluated and scored by a committee of at least five individuals based on established criteria, qualifications, and potential presentations or interviews. The resulting contract term is three years.
