Village of Grafton Request for Proposals for Village Attorney Services

The Village of Grafton requires village attorney services to provide general legal counsel for the village, its board, administrator, department heads, and officials. The selected vendor will serve as legal advisor, draft legal documents, render oral and written advice, appraise officials on changing laws, assist with insurance claims, serve as municipal prosecutor, and attend requested meetings. Qualified law firms and attorneys licensed to practice law in the State of Wisconsin are eligible to apply. Work will be performed offsite, and the contract term runs for two years from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2028. Proposals must include a profile and history of the firm, a list of current municipal government clients, a fee schedule including travel fees, and three references for the lead proposed attorney. Submissions can be sent digitally via email or delivered physically by 4:00 p.m. on November 20, 2026. The buyer will evaluate proposals based on municipal government experience, staff availability, scope and cost of services, and references.
