City of Watertown Solicitation for ERPO and Police Codes Legal Services

The City of Watertown is seeking proposals from qualified attorneys or law firms to provide legal services related to Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) matters and municipal code and ordinance violation prosecutions. The selected vendor will offer legal advice and guidance to staff and the police department, assist with legal research and local law interpretations, review law enforcement referrals, and prepare and file necessary legal documents including accusatory instruments, pleadings, motions, and petitions. Work may be performed onsite or offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore USA organizations. Applicants must meet specified insurance requirements, including Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits Insurance. Sealed proposals must be delivered to the Purchasing Department by Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. Vendor selection is anticipated for December 7, 2026.
