Community Improvement Plan Consulting Services for Expanded Housing Options in Markham

The Corporation of the City of Markham is requesting proposals from qualified, multi-disciplinary consulting firms to assist in exploring options and preparing a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) to incentivize a range of housing options. The selected vendor must perform research, review the CIP framework, recommend updates to policies and project areas, and lead a stakeholder engagement and education program. Eligibility is limited to Canadian organizations, and performance may occur onsite or offsite. Vendors must pay $25.00 plus tax and register on the City's bidding website to obtain the unwatermarked RFP documents. Bidders must submit all questions through the bidding system by November 05, 2026. Bids must be submitted electronically in English through the City's Bidding System Website by November 18, 2026, at 3:00:00 pm local time. The contract period will run for one year.
