SOLICITATION DOCUMENT — City of Conway Main

The City of Conway Purchasing Department is soliciting bids for Invitation for Bid 2026.07 to procure an optical sorter system. Qualified manufacturers and authorized integrators must design, manufacture, deliver, install, start up, and commission a near-infrared hyper-spectral imaging optical sorting system and a 60-inch acceleration conveyor. The project includes removing the existing National Recovery Technologies optical sorter, completing mechanical and electrical installations, and integrating controls into the City's materials recovery facility in Conway, Arkansas. Only USA-based organizations are eligible to submit bids. Prospective contractors must submit general arrangement drawings within four to six weeks of receiving a purchase order and initial payment, and equipment must ship within 22 to 24 weeks after drawing approval. Bids must be submitted digitally through the City's AR Bid eProcurement portal by November 6, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.
