Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Sovereign Technology Solutions Request for Information

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador Public Procurement Agency has issued a Request for Information to support the planning and execution of potential future procurements for sovereign technology solutions. The Province seeks to identify Canadian-owned suppliers, including their ultimate parent corporations, that offer technology or cloud solutions where data is processed, transmitted, and stored exclusively within Canada. Eligible vendors must not be subject to foreign jurisdiction or laws that could allow foreign government access to Canadian data or compel actions affecting Canadian services. Only Canadian organizations performing work offsite are eligible to participate. Bidders must submit proposals electronically as lump-sum pricing by November 20, 2026, at 11:59:00 PM NST. Online questions are accepted until November 13, 2026, at 10:59:00 PM NST.
