The agency is seeking a cloud-hosting electronic health records system to support complete patient records and integrated patient care initiatives. This requirement encompasses both on-premises and Software as a Service EHR solutions to ensure healthcare providers access the necessary information for clinical decision-making. The system must facilitate direct communication between providers and patients while maintaining data integrity through consistency checks and checksums. The scope of work includes the territorial deployment of the EHR solution across all service domains according to a proposed implementation timeline. The agency requires the system to integrate with future technologies using industry-standard APIs, such as FHIR and HL7 v2+, to minimize point-to-point interfaces and enhance interoperability. Security protocols must include restricted and monitored access to database maintenance utilities that bypass standard controls. Eligibility is restricted to Canadian organizations.
