Trade, Consumer Representative and Marketing Services

The California Walnut Commission is seeking a trade representative and marketing services agency to represent its interests among Canadian importers and retailers. The agency needs to maintain a close working relationship with all levels of the trade to promote walnuts. This effort targets the food processing industry, including bakers and confectioners, as well as importers, wholesalers, distributors, retailers, the hotel, restaurant, and institutional sector, culinary institutions, and other organizations involved in the channels of commerce. The selected partner must either conduct or outsource consumer public relations and advertising activities. The scope of work covers media relations, social media and influencer engagement, recipe development, advertising, healthcare professional outreach, and participation in strategic events. All performance of the work will take place offsite. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States.
