Professional Land Surveying Services

The Rhode Island government authority is seeking professional land surveying services to support its ongoing public works and planning initiatives. The agency requires a qualified vendor to resolve data gaps by conducting comprehensive survey research, performing field surveys, and preparing certified plans. This project addresses the agency's need for accurate geographic, boundary, and infrastructural data across its jurisdiction. The scope of work covers three primary phases, starting with survey research and the compilation of tax assessor data, GIS data, survey control, and monuments. Field operations require the selected vendor to perform GPS control, map existing conditions and topography, establish right-of-way lines, locate utilities and wetland flags, and conduct photogrammetry. Finally, the agency requires the preparation and certification of boundary plans, right-of-way condemnation plats, subdivision plans, and utility profile sheets. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely in the United States. The agency expects the work to be performed through a combination of onsite field activities in Rhode Island and offsite technical preparation.
