High Quality Curricula and Professional Learning Service

The Rhode Island Department of Education in Providence is seeking high-quality core curricula, supplemental curricula, and professional learning services in social studies for local education agencies. The agency aims to solve the problem of stand-alone, unsupported professional development by providing educators with ongoing, job-embedded coaching and expert support. This initiative will enable local education agencies to leverage comprehensive instructional materials and strategic training to improve student learning outcomes. The scope of work covers K-12 core and supplemental social studies instructional materials in print or digital formats, alongside aligned professional learning services. The requested professional learning must focus on rigorous classroom content, incorporate active learning opportunities, and support educator collaboration through coaching or group work. All materials and training must align with school or district curricula, local education agency strategic improvement plans, and student-focused learning needs. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located within the United States. The agency will permit the selected vendor to perform all work offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
