Recyclable Materials Marketing Services

The City of Coral Gables is seeking a vendor to provide recyclable materials marketing services for a contract period of one year. The city will collect recyclable materials in sixteen cubic yard rear loaders and thirty cubic yard side loaders and transport them to a material recovery facility. The selected vendor must process and market these collected materials, which include various types of paper, plastics, glass, and metals. The scope of paper materials covers ad circulars, catalogs, cardboard, chipboard, envelopes, file folders, junk mail, magazines, newspaper, note cards, office paper, other high-grade paper, paperback books, paper bags, phone books, and aseptic containers. Plastic materials include all containers labeled one through five and seven, as well as rigid plastics. Glass materials encompass bottles and jars of any color, while metals include aluminum drink cans, aluminum foil and pie plates, steel and food cans and lids, empty aerosol cans, and household metals like pots and pans. Bidders must be onshore United States organizations to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
