Real Estate Consultant Service

The San Diego County Employees Retirement Association is seeking an independent real estate consultant to assist with the management of its real estate investment program. The agency requires a consultant with extensive experience in the institutional and public pension fund sectors to support its portfolio decision-making. This partner will help the agency make informed investment and portfolio management decisions by providing timely transaction reviews and recommending specific actions. The scope of work covers the oversight of real estate investment managers in conjunction with agency staff, which includes conducting periodic reviews, interviews, and on-site visits. The selected consultant must also identify, analyze, and recommend new real estate investment opportunities for the agency to consider. All project work will be performed offsite, and the agency is currently seeking budget proposals to determine the cost of these services. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will evaluate bidders based on their demonstrated experience in institutional and public pension fund real estate consulting. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 3, 2026.
