The government authority located in Los Lunas, New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive legal services, counsel, and representation. The agency needs to ensure compliance with state and federal mandates while prioritizing fiscal responsibility. To solve potential legal challenges, the selected counsel must advise personnel on problem areas, manage the impact of new legislation, and provide legislative advisory services. The scope of work covers managing legalities for real property acquisitions, cell phone tower leases, and the disposition of district-owned property. The selected vendor will assist with the legal framework of general obligation bonds and lease-purchase arrangements. Additionally, the agency requires litigation management and reporting, specialized training sessions for leadership and staff on critical legal areas, and twenty-four-seven availability to address urgent and unexpected legal matters. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be conducted either onsite or offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference on May 29, 2026.
