State and Federal Legislative Advocacy Services

The City of Huntington Beach, California is seeking state and federal legislative advocacy services to support the city council's policies and priorities. The scope of work includes providing weekly and monthly reports on the status of legislation, along with regular updates on the political landscape in Sacramento and Washington, D.C. The contractor must direct all communications to the designated contract manager and present legislative issues to the city council for policy direction as needed. Furthermore, the contractor will assist in establishing relationships between city officials and key policymakers, represent the city's voice in the capitols, and testify at legislative and regulatory committee hearings. Bidders must perform the work onsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract will cover a one-year period.
