Risk Management Services

The government authority located in Victoria, British Columbia is seeking professional risk management advisory services on an as, if, and when required basis to support the ongoing development and implementation of a departmental enterprise risk management framework. The agency needs to strengthen the consistency, clarity, and usability of its risk management practices while building internal capability and ensuring that risk information effectively informs decision-making, strategic planning, and reporting to senior leadership. To solve these challenges, the agency requires assistance with risk management program development, facilitating and aggregating operational risks, developing risk tracking tools, standardizing risk definitions, consolidating registries, identifying gaps, and providing training for recurring reviews. The scope of work covers reviewing and refining risk management tools, methodologies, and practices, as well as facilitating risk identification and assessment activities at the departmental and divisional levels. The selected partner must support the integration of risk information into the corporate enterprise risk management framework and assist with governance and oversight structures. Additionally, the project includes developing risk-related policies and frameworks, such as risk appetite statements, and delivering training and awareness activities tailored to different levels of management and oversight. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations located in Canada. The agency requires all performance of the work to be conducted offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 30, 2026.
