Insurance Company Financial Examination Supervisor Services

The Alabama government authority is seeking insurance company financial examination supervisor services to oversee and assist in the supervision of financial examinations of captive insurers and other regulated entities. The agency requires a contractor to provide guidance to examination staff and contractors regarding examination procedures and regulatory expectations. Additionally, the selected partner must review examination workpapers, reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. The scope of work includes assisting with the resolution of complex accounting, financial reporting, or regulatory issues that arise during examinations. The agency also needs assistance with the planning and scheduling of examinations and related supervisory activities. The chosen provider must offer subject-matter expertise regarding captive insurance regulatory practices and emerging regulatory issues, as well as deliver written and oral reports regarding examination findings and regulatory recommendations. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all contracted work will take place offsite.
