Medical Director Services

The Kentucky government authority is seeking a vendor to provide medical director services for a one-year contract period. The selected medical director will provide medical direction and oversight for all agency operations, training, and deployments, including disaster response, technical rescue, and austere environment operations. The agency needs to ensure its medical operations integrate appropriately with local EMS systems, hospitals, and public health agencies. The scope of work requires the medical director to serve as the senior medical authority for agency task forces during activations under Emergency Support Function 9. The agency also requires support for its logistics and planning sections regarding medical cache development, pharmaceuticals, and controlled substance compliance. Additionally, the medical director must provide consultation on medical issues raised by agency leadership, Incident Command, or partner agencies. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
