Irrigation Maintenance and Repair Services

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive irrigation maintenance and repair services. The agency needs to keep its main irrigation system operational, which includes the pump station at pond number three, all mains, valves, solenoids, buried and exposed electrical valve wiring, piping, and heads. The scope of work also covers eight additional smaller remote systems. The selected contractor must supply all labor, tools, vehicles, and rental equipment required to complete the necessary maintenance and repairs. The agency requires regular monitoring, which involves operating and visually checking all underground irrigation zones for leaks, broken heads, heads out of adjustment, and improperly functioning electric valves. The contractor must repair broken underground irrigation lines in accordance with all applicable codes and resolve clogged heads by disassembling, cleaning, reassembling, and checking them. Only onshore United States organizations are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The performance of the work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget, and the resulting contract will span a three-year period. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on June 10, 2026.
