State Government Relations Consultant Services

The agency is seeking a qualified state government relations consultant to establish a one-year contractual relationship. This consultant will monitor state and local legislation, proceedings, and publications of rules and regulations. The selected partner must also maintain positive relationships with members of the general assembly to support the agency's objectives. The scope of work requires the consultant to provide timely reports on legislative activity to the agency. The consultant must meet monthly, or weekly when necessary, with appropriate agency staff to review pertinent information and prepare action plans. Performance of these services will take place either onsite or offsite. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will evaluate proposals based on the bidder's ability to work well with agency personnel in a cost-effective and practical manner, noting that price is only one of multiple selection criteria. The agency is currently looking for budget proposals, and bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 17, 2026.
