Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan and Facilities Conditions Assessment Services

The City of Dixon, California is seeking a qualified consultant to perform a comprehensive Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plan, alongside facilities conditions assessment services. The city needs to identify existing obstacles that limit accessibility and establish clear steps to ensure all facilities within the public right-of-way become accessible to all individuals. This project will result in a new ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan that specifies a compliance schedule and identifies the official responsible for implementing the plan. The scope of work requires the selected consultant to assist the city in conducting a comprehensive self-evaluation of its programs, services, activities, facilities, and public right-of-way. The consultant must perform field inspections of city-owned facilities and public infrastructure to determine compliance with ADA accessibility requirements. Additionally, the agency requires the development and recommendation of procedures, training, and implementation tools to support ongoing ADA compliance. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the performance of the work to be completed offsite.
