Live Public Auction Services

The City of Wichita Falls, Texas, is seeking a qualified vendor to provide live public auction services for various government departments. The agency needs to liquidate a diverse inventory of surplus, seized, and decommissioned property to clear storage space and recover funds. The selected auctioneer will handle the sale of police department seized property, including jewelry, baseball cards, coins, stamps, perfume, and guitars. The scope of work also encompasses the auction of surplus Fire and EMS equipment such as backboards, medic bags, blankets, splints, collars, nebulizers, masks, and other medical supplies. Additionally, the agency requires the disposal of fleet items, which include generators, motors, port-o-cool fans, winches, saws, tool boxes, headache racks, tire machines, air compressors, and ground lifts. The fleet inventory further extends to larger assets such as John Deere Gators, passenger cars, pickups, utility trucks, trash trucks, motorcycles, and heavy equipment. Bidders must be onshore organizations based entirely within the United States to be eligible for this contract. The agency requires the selected vendor to perform all auction services offsite at the vendor's own office or facility location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget and pricing structure for these services, and evaluation will be based on the submitted proposals.
