The Stanislaus Council of Governments in Modesto, California is seeking federal advocacy and lobbying services to assist in developing and successfully pursuing its legislative priorities. The agency requires a consultant to serve as a reliable and consistent conduit of information to and from the United States Senate and House of Representatives. The selected partner will monitor and track all federal bills, resolutions, files, journals, and histories relevant to the agency. The scope of work includes transmitting the agency's interest positions on key legislation to the federal legislature, congressional staff, committees, federal agencies, and other interested organizations. The consultant must also coordinate legislative and regulatory efforts on behalf of the agency. All performance of the work will occur offsite, and only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to apply. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 10, 2026.
