Interpretive Strategic Plans, Historical Research and Content Development Services

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide interpretive planning, historical research, oral history collection, and interpretive content development services. The project aims to document site use across designated historic periods and compile relevant agency plans, including the Comprehensive Park System Master Plan, Strategic Plans, Comprehensive Plan, Historic Preservation Plan, and the Fairview Park Development and Management Plan. The selected vendor will develop a historical overview in collaboration with Tribal partners and create an Interpretive Database containing all assets, references, oral histories, and materials. The scope of work requires identifying and mapping remnants of historic structures such as retaining walls, foundation depressions, and saved bricks. The vendor must coordinate with agency environmental consultants regarding archaeological requirements and identify a project team consisting of subject matter experts, partners, stakeholders, affiliated interest groups, and community members. Required deliverables include an Existing Conditions Report, the Interpretive Database, an Asset Inventory Map, and a Significance Statement to define overall management and program goals. Bidders must perform all work offsite and must be located onshore within the United States. The contract period will span one year. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and has not provided pre-established evaluation criteria or specific key dates in the initial solicitation.
