Fire Protection Service

The Ohio-based government authority is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive fire protection services for its medical facility. This facility delivers inpatient medical care to approximately 250 incarcerated adult patients and outpatient specialty care to hundreds of patients weekly. The agency requires these services to ensure the continuous safety and operational readiness of its specialized healthcare environment. The scope of work covers the maintenance and service of specific fire protection infrastructure across the facility. This infrastructure includes one pit entry, one hot box entry, four inside facility locations, and a Halon/Sapphire system. The selected contractor must service six control panels, six duct detectors, 34 pull stations, 188 smoke detectors, 83 combination devices, and one rolling fire door. Additionally, the service covers three halon extinguishers, two K-type extinguishers, and 100 ABC extinguishers. The agency requires all work to be performed offsite. Bidders must be located onshore within the United States to be eligible for this opportunity. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently seeking proposals to determine the budget and pricing structure.
