State Legislative Advocacy Services

The Monterey County-based government authority is seeking state legislative advocacy services to represent and protect its interests. The agency needs to monitor and review pending legislation, policies, and regulations while actively advocating its interests to the Legislature, its members, and other appropriate parties. To facilitate regular communication, the selected contractor must develop and maintain consistent contact with state agencies and members of the Legislature. The scope of work requires coordination with legislative advocates representing other public entities, including the department of transportation, the transportation commission, and the coastal commission. The contractor must perform all work offsite at their own office location. The agency limits eligibility for this opportunity to onshore organizations based in the United States.
