RFI for Enterprise Microfiche Digitization and Modernization Project Service

The agency is seeking comprehensive, enterprise-scale digitization and modernization services to convert approximately 5.88 million physical microfiche sheets and films. The organization needs to transform these physical records into a dual-format, legally admissible digital records repository. This modernization project aims to solve the challenge of managing and preserving a massive volume of legacy physical microfiche. The scope of work requires scanning the microfiche sheets and films in PDF or TIFF file formats. Performance of all digitization activities will occur offsite. The agency requires the selected vendor to deliver high-quality scanning resolution suitable for legal admissibility. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to participate in this opportunity. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget and cost structure for this enterprise project.
