Traveling Exhibition Rental Service

The New York State Museum in Albany, New York, is seeking a vendor to provide traveling exhibition rental services. The agency needs two versatile, engaging, and family-friendly traveling exhibitions for rent to enhance its visitor offerings. Each exhibition must range from 5,000 to 10,000 square feet or more and be fully ready for public display. The agency requires exhibitions that feature family-friendly topics, unique objects, visually pleasing graphics, and hands-on interactivity throughout. The chosen exhibitions must offer multi-generational appeal for layered learning with short engagement cycles, as well as youth-based learning and exploration. The layout of the exhibitions must be flexible to allow for a clear flow with natural stopping points. The entire exhibition space and all interactive elements must be ADA compliant with strict attention to accessibility for all visitors. The agency requires the rental contracts to be comprehensive, covering all aspects of the rental including staffing, travel, and shipping. Performance of the work must take place onsite at the agency facility in Albany. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to bid on this opportunity. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this project.
