Film Digitization, Information Technology Support and Equipment Maintenance and Services

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency is seeking a vendor to provide film digitization, information technology support, and equipment maintenance services. The agency needs to systematically digitize historical film at the canister level to preserve intelligence integrity throughout the conversion process. The project covers the retrieval and handling of historical film, precision scanning operations, and secure digital archiving at the digitization operations center in Washington, D.C. Scanning technicians must scan approximately 10 cans per day per individual, or 50 cans per week per individual, using Meridian Dragon scanners. The work requires generating TIFF, GeoTIFF, and NITF format files to fulfill customer requests and accessioning requirements. Personnel must utilize geospatial intelligence software, including ENVI, ArcGIS, NextStar, IrfanView, Archive Manager, and Google Earth. The agency requires qualified on-site technical support for both the hardware and software components of all scanning systems. Bidders must be United States organizations, and all contracted work must be performed on-site at the Washington, D.C. facility. The agency is requesting proposals for a contract period of one year, and bidders may submit their responses digitally via email or through the online portal.
