The government authority located in Des Moines, Iowa is seeking a vendor to coordinate all aspects of printing, collating, folding, warehousing, and mailing. The agency needs to solve the logistical challenge of processing and distributing two customized letters containing variable, personally identifiable information to its recipients. This project requires the selected vendor to utilize four provided Excel data files, each containing approximately nine fields of variable information, to generate username and password letters. The scope of work covers printing, folding, inserting, presorting, and mailing the customized letters, as well as providing a black and white electronic PDF version of each completed statement. The agency requires the letters to be printed as two-color, black and PMS 542 blue, with no bleeds on 11-inch by 17-inch sheets that fold down to an 8.5-inch by 11-inch page size. Bidders must perform three folds to reach a final size of 3.5/8 inches by 8.5 inches, ensuring the variable address data is visible through a number ten security envelope. Additionally, the vendor must print two separate versions of a booklet and insert them into the envelopes with the username letters for file groups one through three. The agency limits eligibility to onshore organizations based in the United States. The contract period spans three years, and all performance of the work will occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or online, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
