In-Person American Sign Language Interpreting Services

The agency is seeking a vendor to provide in-person American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services on an as-needed basis. These services will support agency employees attending various community events, conferences, meetings, and trainings. The requested interpreters must demonstrate proficiency in interpreting spoken English to ASL and ASL to spoken English. The scope of work requires interpreters to take an unpaid lunch break of at least thirty minutes after five hours of work. When multiple interpreters work the same assignment, they must take these unpaid lunch breaks in shifts. Although the services are for in-person events, the agency specifies that the vendor must perform the administrative and organizational work offsite from their own office location. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based solely in the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget for this contract.
