Event Management, Planning and Organization Service

Travel Alberta is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive event management, planning, and organization services. The agency needs end-to-end support to deliver fully integrated planning, execution, and reporting across a range of events, from small stakeholder meetings and workshops to large-scale international marketplaces, conferences, and missions. This initiative aims to solve the challenge of executing complex events by ensuring strategic alignment to market priorities and establishing strong project governance with clear timelines, budgets, and risk management. The scope of work covers event planning and coordination, logistics management, venue sourcing, program design, and on-site event support. The selected provider must also manage participant and stakeholder relations, coordinate suppliers and production, handle audio-visual requirements, manage registrations, and deliver post-event reporting. Performance of these duties will occur both offsite and onsite. Bidders must be located onshore within Canada to be eligible for this opportunity. The agency is requesting proposals to determine the budget for this initiative. The contract period will span one year, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 10, 2026.
