Gas Marketing Services

The City of Anaheim is seeking a gas marketer to facilitate and manage all physical fuel supply and fuel imbalances for the agency's generation station. The selected vendor will serve as the primary provider of gas to the city unless the agency arranges for physical delivery from alternative sources. The gas marketer must sell gas directly to the city and accommodate the agency's preference to deliver gas physically, either directly or through third parties, into the marketer's pool. The scope of work requires the gas marketer to allocate costs and credits associated with imbalance fuel purchases and sales. These allocations must align with procedures approved by the city and rely on fuel usage data provided by the agency. The city will retain responsibility for making its own decisions to hedge its fuel supply either physically or financially. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency requires the performance of all work to occur offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the online portal, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget.
