Stage Rigging Production and Labour Services for Entertainment and Event Services

The City is seeking a vendor to provide stage rigging production and labour services for entertainment and event services. The agency needs qualified event production personnel to support agency-hosted and City-supported entertainment and event activities. This contract solves the need for coordinated stage crew and event production labour across a variety of event schedules, including daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The scope of work covers the coordination and execution of all stage crew and event production labour requirements. The selected vendor must provide skilled personnel across a range of production roles, including lighting, audio, and camera operators, grips, wardrobe personnel, loaders, pushers, carpenters, set construction and props personnel, runners, catering assistants, vehicle operators, and crew chiefs or stewards. The work also includes the installation and dismantling of event production systems and infrastructure, such as rigging systems, cables, motors, drapery, staging, speakers, monitors, lighting and audio equipment, and related components. Additionally, the vendor must provide dedicated runners and vehicles with appropriate licensing, insurance, and compliance, while excluding services unrelated to event production labour and stage crew operations. Bidders must be onshore organizations based in Canada to be eligible for this opportunity. The performance of all work will take place onsite at designated City event locations.
