State Government Relations Consultant Services

The agency is seeking a qualified vendor to provide state government relations consultant services through a one-year contract. The selected contractor must work closely with agency personnel to deliver cost-effective and practical services. The primary goal is to monitor state and local legislation, proceedings, and publications of rules and regulations while maintaining positive relationships with members of the general assembly. The scope of work requires the contractor to provide timely reports on legislative activity to the agency. The contractor must also meet monthly, or weekly when necessary, with designated staff to review pertinent information and prepare action plans to meet desired objectives. Performance of these services may occur either onsite or offsite. Eligibility is strictly limited to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will evaluate proposals based on multiple selection criteria, with price being only one of the factors considered to determine the best-qualified proposer. The agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget, and all questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted no later than June 17, 2026.
