Airport Operations Management Services

The Halifax County Industrial Development Authority in Virginia is seeking a professional airport operations manager to oversee the day-to-day operational, safety, administrative, and regulatory functions of the local airport. This facility supports business aviation, emergency and public service operations, agricultural aviation, recreational flying, and local economic development. The agency requires an on-site representative to serve as the primary point of contact for airport users, tenants, and the public while promoting positive public relations. The scope of work covers implementing and maintaining airport safety and emergency response procedures, coordinating facilities and maintenance, and maintaining accurate operational and financial records. The selected manager will represent the airport at meetings, inspections, and public events as requested by the authority. The agency will retain ownership, policy authority, and strategic control of the airport, and will provide available airport records and documentation as needed. Eligible bidders must be organizations based in the United States. The performance of the contract work can be conducted either onsite or offsite. The agency is establishing a contract period of one year and is currently looking for budget proposals to determine the cost of these services.
