Broadband Delivery Digital Infrastructure Strategy and Tower Development Service

The Charter Township of Canton is seeking a vendor to provide a broadband delivery digital infrastructure strategy and tower development service. The township needs to implement a digital infrastructure strategy that includes the planning, design, and deployment of a tower-based network supporting fixed wireless broadband, wireless communications, and advanced telecommunications services. This project aims to achieve one hundred percent broadband coverage across the township, prioritizing public safety, underserved residential areas, and critical municipal zones. The scope of work covers expanding broadband to underserved and strategically important areas to foster economic development and business attraction. The township requires high-capacity infrastructure for business users that is capable of supporting next-generation technologies and enhancing broadband access and competition. The selected vendor must develop a phased deployment strategy to enhance commercial and industrial development sites, position Canton as a digital infrastructure hub, and attract wireless providers, internet service providers, and other potential users. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The township allows the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit proposals digitally via email or online, and the township is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget.
