Recyclable Materials Marketing Services

The City of Cocoa is seeking a vendor to provide recyclable materials marketing services for a contract period of one year. The city will collect recyclable materials in sixteen cubic yard rear loaders and thirty cubic yard side loaders, then transport them to a material recovery facility. The program requires processing and marketing services for paper, plastics, glass, and metals. The paper category covers ad circulars, catalogs, cardboard, chipboard, envelopes, file folders, junk mail, magazines, newspaper, note cards, office paper, other high-grade paper, paperback books, paper bags, phone books, and aseptic containers. Plastics include rigid plastics and all plastic containers labeled one through five and seven, such as bottles, jugs, pipes, pill bottles, egg crates, and laundry baskets. Glass materials cover bottles and jars of any color, while metals include aluminum cans, foil, pie plates, steel cans, lids, empty aerosol cans, and household metals. Eligible bidders must be onshore United States organizations. The selected contractor will perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 17, 2026. The city is looking for proposals to establish the budget and will accept responses digitally via email or online.
