The City of Live Oak is seeking a consultant to provide comprehensive land use plan revisions, unified development code revisions, and economic development strategies services. As a city at buildout, the agency needs to encourage economic development activity through a carefully targeted approach to development based on site-specific recommendations. The selected partner will resolve the disconnect between current development codes and future land use goals by aligning municipal regulations with updated planning documents. The scope of work requires the creation of a final comprehensive land use plan in both physical and digital formats, complete with descriptions, recommendations, maps, goals, objectives, and strategies. Additionally, the consultant must perform a diagnostic of the unified development code to ensure its relevance and alignment with the newly adopted land use plan. The economic development portion of the project must utilize the site-specific recommendations from the land use plan to stimulate local business and development activity. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency allows the selected contractor to perform all work offsite. Bidders must submit their proposals digitally via email or through the designated online portal. The agency has not disclosed a specific budget and is currently looking for proposals to determine the cost of the project.
