Paid Youth Internship Pilot Project Service

The government authority in New Mexico is seeking a vendor to develop, coordinate, and administer a paid youth internship pilot project. The agency needs to solve the challenge of connecting youth with meaningful employment opportunities while providing the necessary support systems for participant success. The project covers the recruitment, eligibility verification, and onboarding of interns, as well as the recruitment, vetting, and execution of supervision agreements with employers. The selected vendor must handle the payment of wages or stipends to interns and deliver required support services, orientation, and job readiness training. The scope also requires the vendor to coordinate with state workforce and education systems and manage all required reporting. The agency has structured this pilot project as a three-year contract. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The agency will allow the performance of the work to be conducted offsite. Bidders must submit all questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 9, 2026. The agency is looking for budget proposals from bidders to determine the cost of the project.
