Shredding Services

The government authority located in Portland, Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide professional shredding services to properly purge and destroy sensitive documents that the agency no longer requires. The agency needs a contractor to supply consoles for monthly on-site shredding and disposal service, as well as on-demand, one-time shredding services upon request. All shredding must meet or exceed cross-cut shredding standards recommended by the National Security Agency and Central Security Service. The scope of work requires the contractor to perform all services on-site at the Portland facility. The contractor must provide service reports, manifests, or certificates of destruction upon request by the government authority. Additionally, the contractor must notify the facility manager at least forty-eight hours in advance of any scheduled service or anticipated service interruption. This opportunity is set aside specifically as an Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise procurement for the Department of the Interior and Indian Health Services. Eligible bidders must operate onshore within the United States. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and allows digital submission of responses via email or online.
