Special, Conflicts and Labor Counsel Services

The Camden County Counsel in Camden, New Jersey, is seeking special, conflicts, and labor counsel services to handle legal matters when conflicts of interest or other circumstances prevent the internal county counsel office from providing representation. The selected legal counsel will work under the direction of the county counsel on an as-assigned basis. The scope of work covers a broad range of legal areas, including tort and contract litigation, civil rights litigation, real estate transactions, public procurement, municipal court matters, civil commitment matters, and certain contempt proceedings. The requested services also encompass labor matters, such as representing the county in labor union negotiations, arbitrations, and other labor-related legal issues. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all legal work will take place offsite. The agency is looking for proposals to determine the budget and financial terms for these services. Bidders must submit any questions regarding this opportunity no later than June 12, 2026.
