State Legislative Advocacy Services

The Monterey-based government authority is seeking state legislative advocacy services to monitor and review pending legislation, policies, and regulations. The agency needs a representative to advocate for its interests with the Legislature, its members, and other appropriate parties. This representative must develop and maintain contact with members of the Legislature and state agencies to facilitate regular communication. The scope of work requires coordination with legislative advocates for other public agencies, including the department of transportation, the transportation commission, and the coastal commission. The selected partner must perform all work offsite at their own office location. The agency is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for this undertaking. Only onshore organizations based in the United States are eligible to submit proposals for this opportunity.
