Professional Lobbyist State and Federal Service

Escambia County, located in Pensacola, Florida, is seeking professional lobbyist services at both the state and federal levels. The county needs representation to secure legislation and funding for priority programs and projects before the legislature, administrative agencies, and government officials. The selected consultant will advocate for positions beneficial to the county and oppose harmful measures before state and federal legislatures, committees, and agencies. The scope of work covers securing state and federal assistance for technical assistance, planning and design, infrastructure, and services. The consultant must communicate and provide a monthly progress report to the county administrator or designated staff. Additionally, the consultant must alert the county at the earliest possible time regarding pending appropriations or actions that will impact the county and its funding posture. The county will provide background information and data to assist the consultant in advancing these advocacy efforts. Eligible bidders must be onshore organizations based in the United States. The performance of all lobbying work will take place offsite. The county is currently looking for proposals to determine the budget for these services.
