The government authority in Los Lunas, New Mexico is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive legal services, counsel, and representation. The agency needs to ensure compliance with state and federal mandates while prioritizing fiscal responsibility. To solve ongoing operational challenges, the selected counsel must advise personnel on potential problem areas, analyze the impact of new legislation, and remain available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week to address urgent, unexpected legal matters. The scope of work covers real property acquisitions, cell phone tower leases, and the disposition of district-owned property. The selected vendor will manage the legal framework for general obligation bonds and lease-purchase arrangements, handle litigation management and reporting, and provide legislative advisory services. Additionally, the agency requires specialized training sessions for leadership and staff on critical legal areas upon request. Eligibility is restricted to onshore organizations based in the United States of America. The agency allows the performance of the work to occur either onsite or offsite. The contract period will span one year, and the agency is currently looking for proposals to establish the budget. The agency will host a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference on May 29, 2026.
